Hi everyone, today I will introduce how to adjust the force to control the first object ball in the draw shot. I want to mention about the height of attack. We have 5 positions on the cue ball that the cue tip should touch on them for every draw shot. In free game, we can realize the distance between the cue ball and the first object ball is often below 1 diamond. However, the distance between object balls will be changed from 1/2 diamonds into 2 diamonds. That is a reason we should use the suitable height of attack for each distance. With the draw shot, in the case the first object ball returns to the gathering area after touching 1 cushion, if the distance between object balls is 2 diamonds, we will use the first position of the height of the attack. If the distance between object balls is 1 diamond, we will use the second position of the height of the attack. If the distance between object balls is 1/2 diamonds, we will use the third position of the height of the attack. In the case the first object ball returns to the gathering area after touching 2 cushions, the height of the attack is same with the case of 1 cushion. In the case the first object ball returns to the gathering area after touching 3 cushions, we will use 3 positions of 3, 4 and 5.
